Meet Up & Drop Off

Your “Local Friend” will pick you up from your Aguas Calientes hotel OR meet you at the entrance of Machu Picchu Sanctuary OR meet you outside Aguas Calientes Train Station. It will depend on the case. The drop off will be the at the bus stop so you can take your bus down to Aguas Calientes town OR you’ll be escorted back to your hotel. Again, it will depend on the case.

DOESN’T INCLUDE

Transportation

A train and a bus are needed to reach Machu Picchu. These are not included in the tour price but can be quoted and added upon request.

Entry Tickets

A personal entrance ticket is needed to be admitted to Machu Picchu. It is not included in the tour price but can be quoted and added upon request.

Food or Drinks

Due to the regulations in Machu Picchu Sanctuary, no food or beverages are allowed.

    The rules for Machu Pichu visit have changed and you need to have a guide with you to enter the site. We were planning a half-day visit in the afternoon and asking" Peruvian Friends" to help us with the guide was the best decision for sure.     We organised all this from the UK. We had them organise all the transfers to and from Macchu Picchu. They also obtained all out tickets, including the bus and Machu Picchu tickets. You can get these online, but the site is very difficult to navigate and I got fed up trying. It's more expensive for them to get the tickets, but its worth it for the hasstle factor. The guide we had was very good. I'm sorry I can't remember his name. They kept us fully informed all the time about the paperwork that they needed, and everything arrived in good time.

    All our tours are private. We accept from single travelers to big groups but all the excursions will be private (with few exceptions like: Palomino Islands Tour, Ballestas Island Excursion and Huacachina Buggies & Sandboard Ride).

    This tour can begin any time between: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

    This will depend on: availability, your Mapi ticket schedule, your Mapi train schedule, etc.

    The best way is by using the contact form that is in this page, or sending us an e-mail, as we do not accept reservations by phone calls.

    You can also reach us by DM on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram.

    We have two methods you can use: Zelle and PayPal. Just choose the one that fits you the best.

    Sadly, it is not possible. Reservations are confirmed once the advanced payment has been done.
