Pick Up & Drop Off

Your “Local Friend” and private driver will pick you up from your Hotel, Airbnb or homestay. Locations covered: Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro and Lima Centre. For other districts, please ask. At the end of the tour, you’ll be taken back to your stay.

    After being in Peru for 2 weeks, we ended our vacation with an Eight hour walking/car tour. We had seen the typical tourists spots and now wanted a taste of everyday Lima. We let Peruvian Local Friend know in advance the places we had already seen so that our guide would be able to plan accordingly. Rodreigo and Alonso picked us up from the hotel and our day never stopped! We started by exploring Barranco, and seeing out of the way architecture of homes and building, forgotten railroads and trams to the ocean, little boutiques..the day was filled with sites and tastes to enjoy, and ended with a visit to the Larco Museum. Rodreigo was a wealth of information and Alonzo could maneuver through any traffic situation. If you have the time for an 8 hour, do it. You can see so much more at your pace. These guys know their city.

    The guide, Rodrigo, and the driver, Alonso, took us for a full day tour of Lima. One of us had difficulty walking and they did their best to accommodate. They fully catered to our wishes and interests. At the end of the day they took us to Museo Larco - highlight of the tour. Rodrigo gave us a tour of the museum. He demonstrated deep knowledge of the topic. It was a wonderful experience. In addition, Alonso picked us up from the airport to the hotel and, few days later, from the hotel to the airport.     Wife and I booked a private full day tour. Tour lasted about 8 hours total and involved walking and driving. They emailed me their proposed itinerary and then we tweaked it to exactly what we wanted to do. The tour guide was excellent and spoke English well. Most importantly we got an excellent overview of the city and got to see its most important sites. Given Lima's size and constant traffic jams, it is impossible to see the entire city unless you have a month to spend there. This tour was perfect if you are in Lima for a limited time and want a good overview.

    All our tours are private. We accept from single travelers to big groups but all the excursions will be private (with few exceptions like: Palomino Islands Tour, Ballestas Island Excursion and Huacachina Buggies & Sandboard Ride).

    This tour can begin any time between: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM.

    As our tours are private and customizable, they can begin at any time you want within the previous range, but this will depend on: availability, what you want to see (museums or shows schedules), flight timing, cruise docking time, etc.

    The private vehicle provided will be used to move comfortably between attractions and districts, saving time. Once there, you’ll explore the sites on foot.

    The best way is by using the contact form that is in this page, or sending us an e-mail, as we do not accept reservations by phone calls.

    You can also reach us by DM on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram.

    We have two methods you can use: Zelle and PayPal. Just choose the one that fits you the best.
