    We booked our 8 hour walking and van tour with PLF the day before we arrived in Lima. We wanted to see as much as possible in the time we had. Our guide was Cindy and our driver was Alonso. They were both extremely friendly, down to earth and knowledgeable about their city. We got picked up at our accommodation right in time at noon. The van was very clean, modern and spacious. We had a private tour and the full attention of our guide. We were able to visit Barranco, San Isidro, Miraflores, old Lima, new Lima, the ocean, Lover’s Park, the Bridge of Sighs, el parque de Reservas (with the fountains) and more. Everywhere we went, Cindy was able to share history and stories with us, making the tour a wonderful learning experience. At the end of the day, they dropped us back to our accommodation at 8pm.     On the last day of our Peru trip we had 10 hours layover in Lima before return flight to US. Lucky we booked the Lima tour with PLF. They arranged the driver, Alonso, to meet us in the airport and return us back after the tour ended; our luggage was securely kept in the vehicle all the time.     On 1 December we had the most delightful 8 hour tour of Lima and the surrounding area. From beginning to end our experience with Peruvian Local Friend was outstanding. Our tour began with a pick up outside the commercial Port of Lima. Very quickly our driver found us and we were on our way in a comfortable van to meet our local guide Renzo. Renzo was fabulous!!     Frequently Asked Questions

    All our tours are private. We accept from single travelers to big groups but all the excursions will be private (with few exceptions like: Palomino Islands Tour, Ballestas Island Excursion and Huacachina Buggies & Sandboard Ride).

    This tour can only begin at 12:00 PM (noon).

    Maybe 1:00 PM as latest, but only upon request. Keep in mind that doing it at that time it will depend on: availability, what you want to see (museums or shows schedules), flight timing, cruise docking time, etc.

    The private vehicle provided will be used to move comfortably between attractions and districts, saving time. Once there, you’ll explore the sites on foot.

    The best way is by using the contact form that is in this page, or sending us an e-mail, as we do not accept reservations by phone calls.

    You can also reach us by DM on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram.

    We have two methods you can use: Zelle and PayPal. Just choose the one that fits you the best.

    Sadly, it is not possible. Reservations are confirmed once the advanced payment has been done.
